HSBC Credit Card- Cathay Pacific Instant Rewards revised rule effective September 15, 2011

For HSBC credit cardholders, please take note of changes on their terms and conditions for Cathay Pacific promo.  The new rules will be in effect starting September 15, 2011.

  1. All casino and fuel transactions will not be honored for redemption.
  2. Only one (1) charge slip issued by a particular merchant on a given day can be used by the Cardholder to redeem the “Take One” travel ticket. If two (2) or more charge slips were issued by the same merchant on the same day, the Cardholder can only use one (1) charge slip to redeem “Take One” travel ticket. The remaining charge slips will no longer be honored for the purpose of the Instant Rewards feature. The cost of the “Take One” travel ticket redeemed through the use of the remaining charge slips shall be charged to the Cardholder’s Card.
  3. “Buy One Take One” travel tickets will only be issued to cardholder, legal spouse, parents and children.
  4. Faded charge slips will not be honored for redemption. The following details should be clear: credit card number, transaction date, transaction amount and approval code.
