HSBC promo second LCD for 1 peso only, 0% debunked!

From June 15,2011 to Aug 31, 2011, you can buy selected lcd tv on Hsbc 0% installment plan and get another tv for one peso only. Installment terms ranges from 0 to 24 months at zero interest!!! Also includes great installment deals on cameras, cellphones, ipod touch, blackberry, etc.

So What’s the deal here? are you getting any real bargains?

Take the first item on the list,
LG 37LK450 37in Full HD TV w/ Wall Bracket - 2011 model! LG 37LK450 It costs 47,000 in the HSBC SRP LIST PRICE, but only 28,000 outside at current prices.

The second item at piso that is pre-chosen for you, is the LG 22LD330 and you get this for a buck, but this item, you can buy outside for only 10,000 pesos.

So if you really do need both items, you buy them outside for only a combined price of 38,000, instead of paying 47,000 in this hsbc deal.  Now you know you are not getting a bargain!

If you insist on excessive spending for two things that you may not really need,

Just visit any of the stores below:
AV Surfer: Ayala Center Cebu, Alimall, Robinsons Metroeast, Festival Mall, Abanao Square Baguio, Rockwell, Robinsons Place Manila, KCC Mall of Gensan and Kalaw.
Sony Centre & Vaio Shop: SM City Cebu, Gateway, SM Megamall, Festival Mall, Park Square, Trinoma Mall, Eastwood, KCC Mall of Gensan, Zamboanga, Vaio Shop Megamall, Vaio Shop SM Baguio, Vaio Shop SM Pampanga, Sony Shop Balintawak

  1. They are definitely overpriced! The Sony Bravia LCD TV in this promo is actually only 39thou and not 74,999!

  2. not really. i thought of that too but i came to realize that cash price is different to installment price. plus the deal is stretched to 24 months which is rare for television sets.
